Physical training for an Indy Race is crucial to a driver’s success. Less weight means more speed. A high level of fitness also contributes to a driver’s ability to withstand the punishing stress on the body over the course of a race weekend. Since January 1, 2010, and in advance of Honda Indy Toronto, Paul Tracy has lost 40 pounds through cycling.
