TORONTO, ON, July 17, 2016 – The Honda Indy Toronto would like to express its most sincere thanks to the amazing race fans who came out in large numbers to celebrate 30 years of racing on the streets of Toronto this weekend.

“We are thrilled. This weekend we saw our best crowd in years and by far the largest since Green Savoree began the promotion of the IndyCar race in Toronto,” said Jeff Atkinson, president of the Honda Indy Toronto.

Our event also wouldn’t have been possible without the support of more than 450 volunteers who helped make this weekend as successful and enjoyable as it was. Also deserving of praise and our thanks were our dedicated partners, like title sponsor Honda Canada, who helped make this event a reality. 

The entire staff at the Honda Indy Toronto and Green Savoree Racing Promotions looks forward to welcoming you back to Exhibition Place in 2017.  See you next year!
